Roundtrip collects no personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no third-party SDK and no server of ours anywhere. It requests no Android permissions. Worth saying plainly, because the app is about HTTP: Roundtrip makes no network requests at all — the server it talks to is simulated inside the app, and every request and response you see is generated on your own device.
Roundtrip is developed and published by VelvetRidge Games, a trading name of Aishladi Ltd, registered in England and Wales. For data protection purposes the company is the controller, although as set out here there is no personal data for it to control.
The Android application Roundtrip, package name com.wirelearn.roundtrip, as distributed through Google Play. It does not cover Google Play itself, your device manufacturer's software, or any other app or website you might open from your device.
Roundtrip is a teaching tool, not a network client. The endpoints you explore, the status codes you receive and the response bodies you read are all produced by a simulation that ships inside the application. Nothing you type into a request — no path, header, body or saved request — is transmitted to us, to the internet, or to anyone else. There is nowhere for it to go.
Specifically, the app gathers none of the following:
Because none of this is collected, none of it is stored on a server, shared with anyone, or sold. There is no back end that could be breached.
So that your work survives closing the app, Roundtrip stores your saved request history, your progress through the lessons and milestones, and simple settings in its private storage area on the device.
None of it is transmitted, none of it is readable by other applications, and all of it disappears when you clear the app's data or uninstall Roundtrip.
Roundtrip declares no Android runtime permissions and does not hold the INTERNET permission. It behaves identically with the device in airplane mode — which is a good way to prove to yourself that the round trips are simulated. If a permission prompt ever appears while using this app, decline it and contact us, because it did not come from Roundtrip.
The app contains no advertising network, no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, no social integration and no cloud service. Nothing reaches a third party through Roundtrip.
Google Play handles distribution, installation and updates. Google may collect information about that process under its own privacy policy, which we neither control nor have access to.
Roundtrip is a study tool suitable for all ages and is not directed specifically at children under 13. As the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, contact us and we will investigate — though the app offers no mechanism by which that could happen.
The strongest protection available is not holding your data at all. What the app does save sits in Android's private per-app storage, protected by the device's own security model and, on current devices, by full-disk encryption. Keeping your device updated and locked with a passcode or biometric is what protects it in practice.
Under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and comparable laws elsewhere, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. We hold no personal data about users of Roundtrip, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or erase on request. Everything the app has stored locally can be removed at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

Roundtrip works anywhere Google Play is available. Because no data leaves the app, there is no international transfer of personal data to describe.
If a future version of the app changes anything that affects privacy — a feature that genuinely needs a network connection, for instance — this policy will be updated before that version is released and the effective date above will change. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy. Earlier versions are not retroactively affected.
